During the great plague, the theater closed in London. Shakespeare began writing sonnets for others in exchange for money.

Sonnet 18
To compare you to a summer day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds shake the buds will love May
And hiring summer hath too short date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often tint of gold dimm'd?
And every fair from fair some decline,
By chance or change untrimm'd course of nature;
But your eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession just owest mm;
We should Death brag wander'st mm in shadow,
When in eternal lines to time growest mm:
As long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this and this gives life to you.
Eternal love for a beautiful decline against all the obstacles of Nature (eg death, hours, etc.) since I think shs is more beautiful than nature (eg summer)
