I need some help. I’m looking to see what a love poem should be like because i want to write one for my girlfriend’s and my first anniversary.
It’d be very nice and it’s what i want to do so i need some inspiration on how to write it. Help me out if you can please.
Anything you know would help.

The sonnets of Shakespeare are filled with love “poems” and beautiful language.
The library or even on-line you should be able to find and get inspired!

Elizabeth Barrett Browing wrote some beautiful things. However, if you write a poem for someone you love there is no better than a poem that comes straight from the heart. Let your passion be your guide. (Hint: Good poems should NOT rhyme.)

As fair thou art, Bonnie girl, So deep in luve am; And I will love you still, my dear, To a’the seas gang xira. Mechri a ‘the seas gang dry, my Dear, And the rocks melt the sun wi »: will luve thee still, my dear, While the sands o’life archizei. Kai fare thee weel my only Luve!
